American Eubanks proving to be as talented behind the microphone as he is with a racquet
The 26-year-old drew rave reviews for his work during last week’s Monte-Carlo Masters

Christopher Eubanks has been steadily building a reputation over the past six or so years as a talented American tennis player.
Still only 26 years, Eubanks has firmly established himself within the top 100 and has become a popular figure on tour among both fans and fellow players.
While Eubanks will be a familiar name to avid tennis followers, more casual fans may not know much about the two-time ACC Player of the Year. However, tennis viewers may be seeing a lot more of him on their television screens in the years ahead after the Atlanta native showed off his unexpected skills as a tennis pundit on Tennis Channel during the Monte-Carlo Masters event last week.
Throughout the week, Eubanks, who made his first outing as a guest pundit for Tennis Channel last year, drew praise from viewers and fans on social media, most of whom expressed surprise at the 26-year-old’s effortless and eloquent style of communication.
Dubbed ‘Professor Eubanks’ by followers on Twitter, the current world No 85 cuts a calm and cerebral figure on screen as he articulately dissects the sport’s big talking points with refreshing fluency and clarity of thought.
Fresh from his impressive run to the quarter-finals of the Miami Open last month, most thought that the next waves Eubanks would be making would be on court. However, it is now evident that the American is a man of many hidden talents.
While many will be hoping to see Chris back on the court soon, there may be even more who are clamouring for his swift return to the television screen.
Whatever the rest of his competitive tennis career holds, Eubanks will have a very promising career in tennis from the other side of the camera whenever he eventually decides to hang up his racket.
