Almaty Open: Khachanov reaches final

Russian Karen Khachanov, the No 3 seed, moved into the final of the Almaty Open by edging out Australian Aleksandar Vukic 6-7 (3), 6-3, 6-4 at Almaty Arena on Saturday.
Khachanov, ranked No 26, will face Canadian Gabriel Diallo next.
Ahead of his victory, the Russian won against Finn Otto Virtanen (7-6 (2), 7-6 (3)) and Kazakh wildcard Beibit Zhukayev (6-2, 6-4).
Vukic, ranked No 85, defeated James Duckworth (6-4, 7-5), Frenchman Adrian Mannarino, the No 8 seed (7-6 (4), 6-3) and American Frances Tiafoe, the top seed (6-2, 7-6 (11)) earlier in the tournament.
