Grigor Dimitrov edged out Alexander Zverev 6-4, 6-7 (4), 6-4 on Friday night and will face Italian Jannik Sinner, the second seed, for the title
Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, the No 11 seed, edged out German Alexander Zverev, the No 4 seed, 6-4, 6-7 (4), 6-4 to advance to the final of the Miami Masters at the Hard Rock Stadium on Friday night.
Dimitrov, ranked No 12, will play Italian Jannik Sinner, the second seed, next.
The Bulgarian defeated Chilean Alejandro Tabilo (6-7 (5), 7-6 (5), 6-2), German Yannick Hanfmann (6-1, 6-0), Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the No 8 seed (3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (3)) and Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the top seed (6-2, 6-4) ahead of his victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Zverev, ranked No 5, won against Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime (6-2, 6-4), American Christopher Eubanks, the No 31 seed (7-6 (4), 6-3), Russian Karen Khachanov, the No 15 seed (6-1, 6-4) and Hungarian Fabian Marozsan (6-3, 7-5).
