Carlos Alcaraz said it best on his birthday in Madrid. Asked if he felt like an adult now that he was 20, he said the following: “I would like to be a teenager a little bit more, you know, for the stats.”

- Youngest men’s champion and 1st Spanish men’s champion in 37-year history of Miami Open Third-youngest ATP Masters 1000 champion since series started in 1990 (Miami).
- Youngest player to complete Sunshine Double of men’s semi-finals (Indian Wells, Miami)
- At the US Open Alcaraz became the youngest US Open men’s singles champion since Pete Sampras in 1990 and the youngest Grand Slam men’s singles champion since Nadal in 2005.
- Became the youngest No.1 in history on September 12, 2022, at the age of 19 years and 214 days.
- Became the youngest year-end No.1 in year-end history
- Became the youngest player to complete the career sunshine double, winning both Indian Wells and Miami before turning 20.
- Became the youngest player to win Indian Wells since Boris Becker in 1987.
- On March 19, 2023, became the youngest player and first teenager to ever return to the No.1 ranking.
