Adelaide Open: Sonego saves two matchpoints to beat Hanfmann
Lorenzo Sonego edged out Yannick Hanfmann 7-5, 2-6, 7-6 (9) on Tuesday. He’ll face No 3 seed Sebastian Korda in the next round

Italian Lorenzo Sonego moved into the second round of the Adelaide Open by edging out German Yannick Hanfmann after saving two matchpoints in the final set.
Sonego eventually won 7-5, 2-6, 7-6 (9) at the Memorial Drive Tennis Centre on Tuesday and the 46th ranked Italian will face No 3 seed Sebastian Korda next.
