Australian lucky loser Rinky Hijikata won against Belgian David Goffin 6-1, 6-2 to advance to the second round of the Adelaide Open at the Memorial Drive Tennis Centre on Tuesday.
Hijikata, ranked No 79, will face American Brandon Nakashima, the No 7 seed, next.
