ATP Adelaide International: Kwon beats Draper in three sets to reach final

Lucky loser SoonWoo Kwon reached the final of the ATP Adelaide International by defeating Jack Draper 7-6 (6), 6-7 (2), 6-3 at Memorial Drive Tennis Centre on Friday.
Kwon, ranked No 84, will face the winner of the match between Australian wildcard Thanasi Kokkinakis and Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut, the No 4 seed, next.
Ahead of his win on Friday, SoonWoo Kwon won against Czech qualifier Tomas Machac (6-4, 6-4), Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta, the second seed (3-6, 6-4, 6-4) and Swede qualifier Mikael Ymer (6-1, 6-2).
Draper, ranked No 40 in the world, beat Italian Lorenzo Sonego (6-4, 6-2), American Tommy Paul, the No 8 seed (6-4, 6-4) and Russian Karen Khachanov, the No 3 seed (6-4, 7-6 (3)) earlier in the week.
The left-handed Brit has drawn top seed and defending champion Rafael Nadal in the first round of the Australian Open next week.
