Jack Draper advanced to the second round of the Adelaide International 1 by beating qualifier SoonWoo Kwon 6-2, 6-1 at Memorial Drive Tennis Centre on Monday.

Draper, ranked No 42, will face the winner of the match between Argentinian Pedro Cachin and Russian Karen Khachanov, the No 8 seed, next.
