$95 million-dollar man – Roger Federer outranks the world’s highest-paid athletes in off-court income, according to Forbes
The Swiss maestro may be retired, but he’s still out-earning all tennis players, and most of the world’s top athletes.
Roger Federer may be retired, but he can still rake in the dough. The 20-time Grand Slam champion ranks ninth on Forbes list of the world’s 10 highest-paid athletes in 2023, and is out-earning everyone on the list in terms of off-court endorsements.
According to Forbes, Federer reeled in $95 million in off-court endorsement money, in addition to another $0.1 million from prize money (figures calculated from May 1, 2022 to May 1, 2023).
The 41-year-old managed to earn $5 million more in off-court earnings than he did last year, thanks to lucrative sponsorships with the likes of Barilla, Credit Suisse Group (ADS), JURA, Lindt & Sprungli, LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, Mercedes-Benz, NetJets, On, RIMOWA, Rolex, Sunrise Communications AG, Switzerland Tourism, Uniqlo and Wilson Sporting Goods.
