Australian Open and US Open champion Jannik Sinner continues his reign atop the latest ATP rankings as the Italian begins his 16th consecutive week as world No 1. Sinner has a total of 11,180 points, a lead of more than 4,300 points over second-ranked Alexander Zverev, of Germany.

With several of the top players competing at the Laver Cup last week (which offers no ranking points) and the completion of the Chengdu and Hangzhou ATP events in China still pending, there is no change in this week’s top 10.

  1. Jannik Sinner – 11,180 points
  2. Alexander Zverev – 6,875 points
  3. Carlos Alcaraz – 6,690 points
  4. Novak Djokovic – 5,560 points
  5. Daniil Medvedev – 5,475 points
  6. Andrey Rublev – 4,645 points
  7. Taylor Fritz – 4,060 points
  8. Hubert Hurkacz – 4,060 points
  9. Casper Ruud – 4,010 points
  10. Grigor Dimitrov – 3,920 points

The only change in this week’s top 20 sees Frances Tiafoe move up one spot to No 15 and swap places with fellow American Sebastian Korda.

Another Brandon Nakashima moves up three spots to No 36, a new career-high for the 23-year-old.

Elsewhere in the top 100, it’s a banner week for the Chinese men on the ATP rankings list with three of their players now being ranked inside the world’s top 100. 27-year-old Zhizhen Zhang moves up five spots to No 43; 19-year-old Juncheng Shang jumps up 12 spots to a career-high No 55; and 22-year-old Yunchaokete Bu rises 28 spots to break into the top 100 for the first time at No 96. All three players are still alive in this week’s events in Hangzhou and Chengdu and hence could rise further next week.

Other big movers inside the top 100 include Spain’s Jaume Munar, up 12 spots to No 62; Germany’s Yannick Hanfmann climbing 13 spots to No 82; and Kazakhstan’s Mikhail Kukushkin jumping 12 spots to No 100.
