Croat Lucija Ciric Bagaric defeated Austrian Sinja Kraus 7-6 (4), 6-3 to move into the last 16 of the Zavarovalnica Sava Ljubljana on Monday.
Ciric Bagaric, ranked No 290, will play Spaniard Aliona Bolsova, the second seed, next.
