Latvian Darja Semenistaja, the No 8 seed, moved into the last 16 of the Tiriac Foundation Trophy by winning against Berfu Cengiz 6-2, 6-2 on Tuesday night.
Semenistaja, ranked No 143, will face the winner of the match between Romanian Irina Bara and Italian qualifier Camilla Rosatello next.
