Strasbourg Open: Gracheva moves into quarter-finals, to meet Svitolina

Russian Varvara Gracheva, the No 6 seed, reached the quarter-finals of the Strasbourg Open by defeating Frenchwoman Selena Janicijevic 6-2, 6-1 at the Tennis Club de Strasbourg on Wednesday.
Gracheva, ranked No 44, will play Ukrainian wildcard Elina Svitolina next.
The 22-year-old Russian edged out Chinese lucky loser Zhuoxuan Bai (6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (3)) in the previous round of the Strasbourg tournament.
In the 32 of the Strasbourg tournament, Janicijevic, ranked No 188, edged out Oceane Dodin (2-6, 6-1, 6-4).
