‘s-Hertogenbosch Open: Galfi reaches last four

Hungarian qualifier Dalma Galfi defeated Serb Aleksandra Krunic 7-5, 6-3 to advance to the semi-finals of the’s-Hertogenbosch Open at Autotron Rosmalen on Friday.
Galfi, ranked No 138, will face the winner of the match between Japanese wildcard Naomi Osaka and Canadian wildcard Bianca Andreescu next.
The Hungarian won against Dutchwoman Arantxa Rus (6-0, 6-3) and edged out Russian Veronika Kudermetova, the No 5 seed (6-3, 3-6, 7-5) ahead of her victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Krunic, ranked No 400, beat French qualifier Jessika Ponchet (4-6, 6-2, 6-1) and edged out American Jessica Pegula, the top seed (7-6 (3), 6-7 (3), 6-4).
