Swiss Viktorija Golubic, the No 9 seed, won against French wildcard Elsa Jacquemot 3-6, 6-3, 6-1 to reach the second round of the Rouen Open at Palais des sports de Rouen on Wednesday.
Golubic, ranked No 105, will play qualifier Tiphanie Lemaitre next.
