Prague Open: Seidel eases past Shibahara to reach last eight

German Ella Seidel advanced to the last eight of the Prague Open by winning against Japanese lucky loser Ena Shibahara 6-2, 7-5 at the Sparta Prague Tennis Club.
Seidel, ranked No 150, will face the winner of the match between top seed Linda Noskova and German Eva Lys next.
The 19-year-old German beat Argentinian Nadia Podoroska, the No 7 seed (6-4, 2-6, 6-1) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round of the Prague tournament, Shibahara, ranked No 257, edged out German Tamara Korpatsch (7-6 (5), 3-6, 7-5).
