Heather Watson moved into the quarter-finals of the Poland Open by defeating qualifier Yuliya Hatouka in three sets (6-2, 5-7, 6-1) at the Legia Tennis Centre in Warsaw on Thursday.
Watson, ranked No 146, will play Belgian Yanina Wickmayer next.
Heather Watson won against No 3 seed Katerina Siniakova (7-5, 6-2) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round of the Warsaw tournament, Hatouka, ranked No 240, edged out Frenchwoman Jessika Ponchet (6-4, 3-6, 7-5).
