Dane Clara Tauson moved into the second round of the Osaka Open by winning against American Katie Volynets 6-1, 6-4 at the Utsubo Tennis Center on Monday.
Tauson, ranked No 62, will play the winner of the match between German qualifier Laura Siegemund and Harriet Dart next.
