Jiangxi Open: Sijia moves into second round
The Chinese woman will face the winner of the match between Chinese wildcard Shuai Zhang and Slovak Rebecca Sramkova, the second seed, in the next round

China’s Wei Sijia advanced to the second round of the Jiangxi Open by winning against Japan’s Mai Hontama 6-2, 3-6, 6-1 on Tuesday.
Sijia, ranked No 132, will face the winner of the match between Chinese wildcard Shuai Zhang and Slovak Rebecca Sramkova, the second seed, next.
