Russian Anna Blinkova reached the second round of the Grand Est Open by winning against Swiss wildcard Stefanie Voegele 6-1, 6-3 at Tennis Club de Contrexéville on Tuesday.
Blinkova, ranked No 128, will face the winner of the match between Italian Jasmine Paolini, the No 3 seed, and American Bernarda Pera next.
