Roman Safiullin beat Francisco Cerundolo 6-7 (5), 3-6, 7-5, 6-3, 6-4 and will play the winner of the match between David Goffin and Tomas Machac next

Russian Roman Safiullin fought back from two sets down against Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 26 seed, 6-7 (5), 3-6, 7-5, 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the second round of Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Wednesday.
Safiullin, ranked No 44, will play the winner of the match between Belgian lucky loser David Goffin and Tomas Machac next.
