Wimbledon: Marterer edges past Gojo to make second round
Maximilian Marterer edged out Borna Gojo 7-5, 6-7 (8), 6-3, 6-4. He’ll face the winner of the match between American lucky loser Michael Mmoh and Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the No 11 seed, in the next round

German Maximilian Marterer edged out Croat Borna Gojo 7-5, 6-7 (8), 6-3, 6-4 to move into the second round of Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
Marterer, ranked No 170, will face the winner of the match between American lucky loser Michael Mmoh and Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the No 11 seed, next.
