Tunisian Ons Jabeur, the No 3 seed, advanced to the third round of Wimbledon by defeating Pole qualifier Katarzyna Kawa 6-4, 6-0 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Wednesday evening.
Jabeur, ranked No 2, will face Frenchwoman Diane Parry next.
The Tunisian won against Swede qualifier Mirjam Bjorklund (6-1, 6-3) in the previous round.
In the previous round, Kawa, ranked No 132, edged out Canadian Rebecca Marino (6-4, 3-6, 7-5).
