Wimbledon: American Marcos Giron reaches second round

American Marcos Giron defeated Hugo Dellien 7-6 (2), 6-4, 6-4 to advance to the second round of Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Wednesday evening.

Giron, ranked No 65, will face the winner of the match between Hungarian Marton Fucsovics and Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, the No 28 seed, next.
