Seoul confirmed as next stop for UTS Tour – with home favourite Soonwoo Kwon to join line-up
The latest venue for UTS has been confirmed, along with several of its stars
The organizers of UTS Seoul have announced the postponement of UTS Seoul. The next UTS event will therefore be the Grand Final, in London, from December 15 to 17, 2023, at ExCel London.
The third leg of the UTS Tour 2023 has been confirmed – with tennis like never before coming to Seoul.
From November 30th to December 3rd, the adrenaline-filled tennis spectacle stops off at KINTEX, Goyangsi, a 10,000-seat indoor arena.
And it’ll feature a newcomer to UTS who’ll be sure to get plenty of support – Soonwoo Kwon, “The Machine”.
He’ll be joined by Nick “King” Kyrgios, Gael “La Monf” Monfils and Alexander “The Bublik Enemy” Bublik. Four more exciting players will be revealed in the coming weeks to complete a stellar line-up.
UTS Seoul: Ticket sales will open on August 28th
Contesting matches of four eight-minute quarters, with 15 seconds between points, the eight men will be split into two round-robin groups of four on Dec 1 and 2, with the top two players in each group qualifying for the Final Four – two semi-finals and the final – to be played on Dec 3.
The winner of UTS Seoul will qualify for the UTS Grand Final, scheduled to be held from December 7-10.
Ticket sales will open on August 28th and will be available to buy on Ticketlink. A special Thursday All Star Game will be held on Nov 30, with tickets available on Pleisure.
The second event of the 2023 series will take place in Frankfurt from September 15-17, with Daniil Medvedev, “The Chessmaster”, heading a star-studded field.
