US Open: Shang advances to second round

Chinese Shang Juncheng beat Kazakh Alexander Bublik, the No 27 seed, 6-4, 3-6, 5-7, 6-3, 6-4 to move into the second round of the US Open at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Shang, ranked No 72, will play the winner of the match between qualifier Jan Choinski and Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena next.
