Stefanos you will face Matteo Berrettini on Saturday in a battle of the two top-ranked players at UTS. What are you expecting from this match?

“We faced each other in practice a few weeks ago and I know he’s a strong opponent. He’s in good shape. He has a big forehand and a very aggressive game. So a lot of similarities with the way and the style I play on the court. So I’m going to have to be a bit more aggressive and I will have to be patient. And I think also, just to grab my chances whenever they present themselves.”

And on Sunday you will face Corentin Moutet and what are you expecting to see from him?

“Corentin has a very unorthodox game you know. It’s not very often that you face opponents like him, he’s going to try and change your rhythm. He has a very good down the line forehand. Not the best serve on the tour but he knows how to trick you and how to mix up the game and have you sort of playing on the edge. So that’s going to be a very tricky match. I haven’t faced him in a long time. But he seems to be improving, he seems to be doing really well. I am going to go out there and play on my terms.”

Will you have a tactical plan against him or just play your style?

“I’m not going to know exactly what to expect. It’s going to take some time for me to understand how the match proceeds and what are the things that I need to pay attention to a bit more. It’s going to take time for me to adjust with every single player. But it’s always important coming in, knowing a few of the things that you obviously analyzed and saw before, and experienced in matches, and I’m trying to do that and come in prepared.”
