On another packed day at the US Open, Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina became the first man into the last 16 as he beat Cameron Norrie in four sets.

If you haven’t heard too much about Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, you are about to hear a lot more. The 21-year-old Spaniard became the first man into the last 16 at the US Open after he wore down Briton Cameron Norrie 7-6, 4-6, 6-2, 6-1. He’ll meet either fifth seed Sascha Zverev or Adrian Mannarino of France.
