Jamie Malachy
Jamie Malachy's earliest experience of tennis dates back to his days at nursery in his birth town of Ridgewood, New Jersey, where he'd sit and watch his mum play tennis through an adjacent glass window. Other early memories include watching Tim Henman play at a rain-soaked Wimbledon from his family home in the United Kingdom, and witnessing Roger Federer win his first Wimbledon title on Centre Court in 2003. Combining his life-long passion for writing with his love of tennis, Jamie has been documenting the sport as a freelancer since 2019.
