Italian qualifier Giulio Zeppieri edged out Serb Dusan Lajovic 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (3) to move into the second round of the Australian Open at Melbourne Park on Tuesday.

Zeppieri, ranked No 133, will play No 19 seed Cameron Norrie next.
