Goffin beats Munar to make Winston-Salem second round

Belgian David Goffin won against Spaniard Jaume Munar 7-5, 4-6, 6-3 to reach the second round of the Winston-Salem Open at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex on Monday evening.

Goffin, ranked No 90, will play No 5 seed Luciano Darderi next.
