Serb wildcard Hamad Medjedovic moved into the second round of the Stuttgart Open by edging out Hungarian Fabian Marozsan 6-7 (3), 6-1, 6-4 at Tennisclub Weissenhof Stuttgart on Monday evening.
Medjedovic, ranked No 131, will play No 3 seed Alexander Bublik next.
