Queen’s: Hijikata into second round as Tiafoe retires injured
Rinky Hijikata is through after Frances Tiafoe retired (7-5, 4-6, 1-0). He’ll face the winner of the match between Matteo Arnaldi and Humbert in the next round

Australian qualifier Rinky Hijikata reached the second round of the cinch Championships when American Frances Tiafoe retired at Queen’s Club in London.
Hijikata, ranked No 98, led 7-5, 4-6, 1-0 when Tiafoe, ranked No 28, pulled out on Monday at Queen’s Club in London.
The Australian will face the winner of the match between Italian Matteo Arnaldi and Frenchman Ugo Humbert, the No 8 seed, next.
