Qatar Open: Grenier books spot in second round

French qualifier Hugo Grenier won against German lucky loser Maximilian Marterer 7-6 (5), 7-5 to reach the second round of the Qatar Open at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha on Tuesday afternoon.
Grenier, ranked No 151, will face Australian Alexei Popyrin next.
