Netflix bags docuseries on Carlos Alcaraz
Filming for the new docuseries began during The Netflix Slam in Las Vegas earlier this month
Two-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz will be the subject of a new Netflix docuseries that has already begun filming.
The docuseries titled ‘Alcaraz’ will follow the world No 2 tennis player, who has gone down in the record books as the youngest top-ranked men’s player in tennis history.
Filming for the same began earlier this month during The Netflix Slam in Las Vegas and will provide insights into the Spaniard’s life on and off the court.
“I am very happy for this experience with Morena Films and Netflix. People are going to get to watch everything you don’t see on a tennis court. I think it’s something very different. I hope you enjoy this series as much as I will,” Alcaraz said in a statement released.
The Netflix crew is also following Alcaraz in Indian Wells this week where the Spaniard is due to face Italy’s Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals of the BNP Paribas Open with a spot in the final and the world No 2 ranking on the line.
