Houston Open: Hijikata advances to second round, beats fifth seed Eubanks

Australian Rinky Hijikata beat American Christopher Eubanks, the No 5 seed, 7-6 (4), 7-6 (2) to move into the second round of the Houston Open at River Oaks Country Club on Monday night.

Hijikata, ranked No 80, will play American Brandon Nakashima next.
