Hungarian Marton Fucsovics beat Monégasque qualifier Valentin Vacherot 7-6 (8), 6-2 to reach the second round of the Bucharest Open at the National Tennis Centre on Tuesday.
Fucsovics, ranked No 82, will play second seed Tallon Griekspoor next.
