Argentinian wildcard Facundo Diaz Acosta reached the second round of the Argentina Open by winning against German Daniel Altmaier 6-3, 7-6 (1) at Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club on Monday evening.
Acosta, ranked No 87, will play No 4 seed Francisco Cerundolo next.
