Pacheco Mendez upsets Vukic to advances in front of home crowd at ATP Acapulco 500

Mexican wild card Rodrigo Pacheco Mendez moved into the second round of the Mexican Open by edging out Australian Aleksandar Vukic 7-5, 4-6, 7-6 (4) at the Arena GNP Seguros in Acapulco on Tuesday night.

Pacheco Mendez, ranked No 356, will next face second-seeded Norwegian Casper Ruud.
