Goffin crushes Hijikata to advance in Acapulco

Belgian David Goffin eased past Australian Rinky Hijikata 6-2, 6-3 to reach the second round of the Mexican Open at the Arena GNP Seguros in Acapulco on Monday night.

Goffin, ranked No 63, will play the winner of a match between No 5 seed Ben Shelton of the United States and Italian Flavio Cobolli.
