Delray Beach Open: Fritz moves past Bu to return to last eight

American Taylor Fritz, the top seed, reached the quarter-finals of the Delray Beach Open by beating Chinese Yunchaokete Bu 7-6 (4), 6-2 at the Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center.

Fritz, ranked No 4, will face Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the No 8 seed, next.

In the previous round of the Delray Beach tournament, Bu, ranked No 69, won against Australian Rinky Hijikata (6-2, 6-0).
