Argentina Open: Djere sees off Tabilo to make last eight

Laslo Djere edged out Alejandro Tabilo 2-6, 6-1, 7-6 (2) on Wednesday evening and will face the winner of the match between Argentinian Sebastian Baez, the No 6 seed, and Brazilian Thiago Seyboth Wild in the next round

Serb qualifier Laslo Djere edged out Chilean Alejandro Tabilo, the No 4 seed, 2-6, 6-1, 7-6 (2) to reach the quarter-finals of the Argentina Open at the Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club on Wednesday evening.

Djere, ranked No 112, will play the winner of the match between Argentinian Sebastian Baez, the No 6 seed, and Brazilian Thiago Seyboth Wild next.

The Serb defeated Frenchman Alexandre Muller (6-3, 6-3) ahead of his victory.
