Delray Beach Open: Davidovich Fokina into second round

Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the No 8 seed, won against Japanese lucky loser Taro Daniel 6-2, 7-6 (2) to move into the second round of the Delray Beach Open at the Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center on Tuesday evening.

Davidovich Fokina, ranked No 60, will face the winner of the match between Japanese Kei Nishikori and American wildcard Mackenzie McDonald next.
