Marseille Open: Borges ousts Wawrinka to make second round

Portuguese Nuno Borges, the No 8 seed, reached the second round of the Marseille Open by defeating Swiss wildcard Stan Wawrinka 6-7 (4), 7-6 (1), 6-3 at the Palais des sports on Tuesday evening.

Borges, ranked No 39, will play Belgian Zizou Bergs next.
