Kazakh Zarina Diyas won against Latvian Darja Semenistaja, the No 4 seed, 6-3, 6-3 to advance to the last 16 of the L & T Mumbai Open on Tuesday.
Diyas, ranked No 353, will face the winner of the match between Belarusian lucky loser Iryna Shymanovich and Indian qualifier Maaya Rajeshwaran Revathi next.
