Swiss Viktorija Golubic moved into the second round of the Cluj-Napoca Open by edging out Dutchwoman Arantxa Rus 7-5, 4-6, 7-6 (10) at the BT Arena on Tuesday.

Golubic, ranked No 113, will play Russian Anastasia Potapova, the top seed, next.
