Australian Open: Humbert moves into third round
Ugo Humbert defeated Hady Habib 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 on Wednesday and will face No 20 seed Arthur Fils in the next round

Frenchman Ugo Humbert, the No 14 seed, won against Lebanese qualifier Hady Habib 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 to advance to the third round of the Australian Open at Melbourne Park on Wednesday.
Humbert, ranked No 14, will face No 20 seed Arthur Fils next.
In the previous round of the first Grand Slam tournament in 2025, the Frenchman defeated Italian qualifier Matteo Gigante (7-6 (5), 7-5, 6-4).
Habib, ranked No 219, beat Chinese Yunchaokete Bu (7-6 (4), 6-4, 7-6 (6)) in the previous round of the first Grand Slam tournament in 2025.
