Monnet, ranked No 236, will play Swiss Viktorija Golubic, the No 7 seed, next.
The Frenchwoman won against German Ella Seidel (6-4, 6-4) in the previous round.
During the 32, Yastremska, ranked No 34, defeated Russian qualifier Alina Charaeva (6-4, 6-4).
