American Alycia Parks, the No 3 seed, beat German Mona Barthel 6-2, 1-6, 6-3 to move into the final of the Open In Arte Angers Loire on Saturday afternoon.
Parks, ranked No 103, will face Swiss wildcard Belinda Bencic for the title.
Ahead of her victory, the American won against French wildcard Julie Belgraver (6-2, 6-4), German Tamara Korpatsch (7-6 (3), 6-2) and Andorran Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva (7-6 (4), 6-3).
Barthel, ranked No 183, defeated Frenchwoman Selena Janicijevic (6-1, 6-3), Frenchwoman Clara Burel, the top seed (6-2, 4-6, 6-3) and Barbora Palicova (6-4, 7-5) in the previous rounds.
