Dominika Salkova won against French qualifier Carole Monnet 6-2, 6-3 to reach the last eight of the Open In Arte Angers Loire on Wednesday afternoon.
Salkova, ranked No 166, will play the winner of the match between Romanian Elena-Gabriela Ruse, the No 8 seed, and American Varvara Lepchenko next.
Dominika Salkova beat Austrian qualifier Sinja Kraus (6-2, 6-3) in the previous round.
During the 32, Monnet, ranked No 244, won against Spaniard Nuria Parrizas Diaz, the second seed (6-2, 7-5).
